THE TRAINEE PROGRAMME

Designed for those who want to make a difference, the Trainee Programme invests in your training and development in a continuous and strategic way. The aim is to prepare you to become a future leader within the Group.

Year One is designed to help you gain greater self-awareness, have a better sense of what you enjoy doing and an understanding of whether you belong here.

In Year Two the focus is on providing you with in-depth insights about the key business areas to help you better understand the impact of the decisions you will be making down the line, as well as gaining fast-track access to career opportunities and helping you build a successful career.

The Year One of our Trainee Programme is meant for you to know yourself better, broaden your horizons and find out if this is where you want to build your career.

THE EXPERIENCE

DISCOVER
Get to know our culture, our business and our way of working, discover what you really like to do and understand if this is where you belong.
EXPERIMENT
Two assignments in two different functional areas are just what you need to explore, develop different skills, and start to visualise your career path.​ You can explore an area of your choice and another area you wouldn’t even think of, and understand where you see yourself.
LEARN
You will be given a tutor for each assignment, who will guide you through the entire experience, provide ongoing feedback and encourage your development so that together we can assess your fit with our business and values.

It’s decision time for both of us.

We have a purpose, and we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to find their own.​ So, after completing the Year One of our Trainee Programme, we will face an important decision together: is this the place for you?​

​If so, you will move on to Year Two, dive into the world of retail and move one step closer to your future, embracing what it takes to be one of our future leaders.

But if you think that you should explore the world and take a different path, or if we’re not a perfect match, we will go our separate ways.

TRAINEE PROGRAMME | YEAR TWO

Year Two is about gaining powerful insights about the business so you can fully understand the impact of your decisions and take on positions of high responsibility within the Group.

Year Two of the programme can only be accessed once completing Year One. If you finish Year One and are a good fit for the Group, you will automatically become a candidate for Year Two. All candidates will go before our President and CEO as well as some Managing Directors for a final selection panel.

DIVE IN
Fully immerse yourself in the retail business through three dynamic operational experiences that will help you understand how our core business works.
GROW
For each assignment, you will get a tutor who will guide you through your day-to-day work, giving you in-depth knowledge of the business and provide constant feedback.
ACCELERATE
You will have a mentor, someone in a senior position within the organisation, who will give you guidance and advice to boost your development and accelerate your career.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The application and recruitment process has four stages:

Online Application

Let us know who you are and what motivates you.

Online Assessment

We will evaluate your skills and your level of English.

Group Challenge and interview

You will work with other candidates to solve a business challenge and demonstrate your strengths. At the end, you’ll be invited to an interview so we can get to know you better.

Selection Panel

After Year One, and if you continue for Year Two, you will go before our Chairman and CEO as well as some Managing Directors for a final assessment.
