The Jerónimo Martins Group seeks at all times to select, for every Company, the most appropriate sources of financing for each type of need.
The Financial Operations Division is one of the Functional Divisions of the holding company, consisting simultaneously an area of corporate support and rendering of services to the Functional and operational divisions of the Group companies.
Among others, the Financial Operational Division is in charge of planning the most suitable financial sources according to need for all of Jerónimo Martins’ Companies. The type of funding, corresponding terms, cost and back-up documentation must comply with the criteria established by Management.
Likewise, the Treasury is responsible for conducting business with financial institutions, optimising factors so that the best possible conditions may be obtained at all times.
